Ling Liu investigates how human see the world. In particular, she focuses on the study of neural dynamics of global precedence effect in visual perception, by using integrative approaches including psychophysics, electrophysiology and MEG. After studying the available literature and experimental evidence, Ling realized that global precedence is key difference between Human Vision and Computer Vision.
