Csaba Kozma

Research Specialist
University of Wisconsin - Madison

In 2012, I have received my MA in Philosophy at the University of Szeged in Hungary; and in 2019, my MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Amsterdam. Since then, I have been working as a research specialist, under the supervision of Dr. Melanie Boly, on intracranial EEG (iEEG), high density-EEG (hd-EEG) and Microelectrode data processing, and data acquisition. This, in both patients and healthy subjects, in awake, sleep and meditative states. In addition, building on my prior studies in philosophy, I have been, also, immersing in the theoretical side of consciousness research in collaboration with Dr. Giulio Tononi.

Csaba’s main scientific interests are to investigate and understand the underpinnings of altered states of consciousness through neuroscientific methods.
