Radoslaw Cichy

Dr. rer. Nat.
Freie Universität Berlin

Radek Cichy investigates human visual cognition. In particular, he focusses on object recognition, i.e. how the brain distils out of the stream of photons hitting the retina a percept of the world consisting of meaningful objects. He takes a broad and integrative approach combining measurements of different imaging modalities with insights from computational modelling, in particular deep learning models.
