Simon received a BS/BE in electrical engineering and mathematics from New York University and completed a PhD in auditory biomechanics from the City University of New York. Currently, Simon is an Associate Research Scientist in the Memory & Neuromodulation Lab (PI: Anli Liu) at NYU School of Medicine, where his research focuses on the neural dynamics of human memory and learning, and how neuromodulation of cortical oscillations can be used to alter these processes.
