Tanya Brown

Tanya has a background in psychology, neuroscience and project management and has dedicated her career to building an innovative research framework, grounded in the principles of open science, in an effort to redefine the approaches we use when tackling some of the most difficult questions about the brain. Tanya’s experience spans the spectrum of the academic research system - from conducting neuroimaging studies, analyzing data and dissemination thereof, to managing international, large-scale projects in neuroinformatics. She has participated in extensive knowledge translation activities and providing training to others in the concepts and practices of Science Management. Tanya is equally passionate about creating equity for all in STEM and advocating for equal opportunities.

  • Project Manager - Brain Network Recovery Group; consortium of 16 scientists spanning the globe, as well as the domains of computational, cognitive and clinical neuroscience, with a shared a focus of understanding brain network dynamics and how it relates to recovery of function
