Xuan completed a B.Sc. in Applied Psychology and a M.Sc. in Developmental Psychology. Subsequently, she pursued her doctoral studies at the University of Glasgow investigating neural representation of visual perception and metacognition with behavioral models and MEG, under the supervision of Prof. Philippe Schyns and Dr. Robin Ince. Xuan has since joined Prof. Ole Jensen ‘s lab at the University of Birmingham, as a Postdoc. In the COGITATE consortium, Xuan is part of MEG team working on analysing MEG data.

Xuan is interested in understanding the information processing under visual perception and the neural mechanisms involved in judgment-making processes. as well as the individual differences that influence them.
